Order Processing
We aim to process orders as quickly as possible. The majority of orders are processed for dispatch within 1-2 days. Some larger furniture items take up to 1 week to process, with a select few made to order items taking longer. All estimated processing times are displayed on individual product pages. Customers will be notified of any changes to these.
Delivery
UK Delivery
Delivery options vary according to the items purchased and are automatically calculated when products are added to baskets.
Smaller items will be delivered via Evri or Royal Mail.
- Standard delivery 2-4 days @ £2.95
- Express delivery 1-2 days @ £4.95
Larger furniture items are sent via DHL or Parcelforce, taking 1-2 days. Rates are charged at a flat rate of £4.95.
EU Delivery
For orders in Europe delivery will normally take around 5-7 working days to arrive. Rates are automatically calculated when products are added to baskets. Rates for our cabinet knobs, hooks, door stops and knockers are detailed on individual product pages.
EU Import Tax – VAT (tax) is charged at each countries local rate. VAT (tax) is payable on all EU orders placed via the website. VAT (tax) is collected by Green Ivy and then remitted to the relevant tax authority. We pay all local taxes and clearance fees, there are no further taxes payable.
USA Delivery
Smaller shipments are sent via a DHL global mail service, with USPS carrying out the final leg of delivery. Delivery of smaller items typically take 7-9 business days. Rates for our smaller items such as cabinet knobs, hooks, door stops and knockers are detailed on individual product pages.
Larger shipments are sent with Fedex or DHL, typically taking 3-5 business days.
All rates are automatically calculated when products are added to baskets.
Rest of the World Delivery
Delivery to The Rest of the World, Canada and Australia, will typically take around 7-10 working days. Rates are automatically calculated when products are added to baskets. Rates for our cabinet knobs, hooks, door stops and knockers are detailed on individual product pages.
Delivery running late
If you haven’t received your order in the expected timeframe then please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. This ensures that we can file a claim for loss with the respective courier. Failing to inform us of non-receipt within this timeframe may void our ability to claim for loss and render any refund or replacement null.
Returns
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase from Green Ivy, however we do understand that there may be occasions when you wish to return an item. We offer no quibble returns within 30 days of receipt of an order. Whether the furniture doesn’t fit, the colour doesn’t match, is the wrong shade or the design isn’t quite right, orders can be returned for a refund. We must be notified of returns within 30 days of receipt of an order. We do ask that returns are then sent within a timely manner. Items must be returned in the same condition that they were sent in, unused and in their original packaging. Care must be taken to package fragile items well as we cannot take liability for returns that are damaged in transit. Once returns have been received and inspected, a refund will be issued, this can take up to 48 hours to process. We are a small family run business and unfortunately cannot afford to offer free returns. It is therefore the buyers responsibility to pay return postage costs. We also advise the use of a tracked service or to obtain a certificate of postage in case the parcel fails to reach us.
Damages
Goods must be checked within 72 hours of delivery and any damages reported to us immediately. In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives damaged or your product/s are faulty, please provide photos of the damaged goods, including any internal and external packaging. This aids our ability to claim for damage from the respective courier. Damaged items will either be replaced or an offer to repair locally, or by us will be made. Depending on the extent of the damage we may offer a partial refund, with buyers retaining the goods. Returns of damaged goods are also accepted and may be arranged depending on the extent of the damage. Failing to inform us of damages within the allotted timeframe may void our ability to claim for damage and render any refund or replacement null.
